We purchased this fridge last year, May of 2013, and from the get go, the sparkling water dispenser was a disappointment. It is advertised to be the same carbonation level as Perrier. That would be true if we were talking about a Perrier that had been open for 8 hours, while sitting in the sun. This is the way it works. In the door, there is a mechanism that fills a bladder with one liter of water, then it injects the CO2 into the bladder. For some reason this process takes about 15 minutes. Then someone comes by and fills a glass with, lets say .85 liters of water. Then you go by with your glass, end up with a 1/2 cup of semi-bubbled water, the machine goes "FFFSSSSSHHHHHHH", empty. Fast-forward 15 minutes, again not sure why, and you are set up to be disappointed a second time.
That isn't the worst part. We noticed after about 2.5 months, that the mech wasn't expelling a full liter anymore. Maybe 3/4 of a liter... Then 1/2 liter... Then 1/4 liter... Finally after about...
